mad me!? mad men!

I´m sick... apperantly i have been caring a sweet evil virus for long, that attacked my stomach (and intestines) according to my doctor!
It´s not cool, when i am ready to go back to my atelier and work hard on my ideas, this little beast is taking my time...
Yesterday night i tried to cook rise and carrots. It was ok till i burned the plastic grip from the pan... because of this M. Lampe is learning to cook :)
Don´t have much to say...
oh yes! we are watching "Mad Men" it´s so so great! we totally advice!!!

honey bunny will be sad but

Next Saturday i will take a flight to Portugal to visit my family and friends. It´s always a strange feeling; in one hand i want so hard to see my beloved ones, but in the other hand, leaving M. Lampe for a week is very difficult! Experience tells me that on the moment i arrive in Lisbon and see my parents, i get so happy that i only start to miss M. Lampe when its time to fall asleep! After 2 days, my concentration level is a bit lower as my mind start to travel to Ghent... thinking about my sweet beautiful niece and sister. However, time goes fast, so i decided to have my sweet belgian apples (honey bunny, sister and niece) on my mind, and enjoy, the maximum i can, my staying in Portugal! I´m really looking forward to it!

A little fact. Me and M. Lampe got a visit the other day from a drunk old lady  that asked us to search a cat in the basement. If it's about finding a cat, i stop everything i am doing! But she was very drunk and her sized breasts didn´t give her a lot of balance. According to her story, her job was finding lost cats, and she was very good succeed. I asked myself if there was so much work, because she stank so bad (and having 10 cats at home is no excuse). Ms Marina (her name) promised to bring us a present, but we never saw her again =D

Scandinavian goodies

Me and M. Lampe have been getting by coincidence, a lot of scandinavian goodies. As you can see on the photo we are laying on something mild and cozy with some scandinavian patterns, i guess that was our first acquisition. Then we changed our deodorant, toothpaste, sanitary pads (mine), and a lot of ´organic` food. We are avoiding all kind of chemicals in our life, and i guess in Scandinavia people are already into this for very long, because most of organic companies come actually from the North.

Meanwhile, the company from our future sofa called me today in French! Well, I live in the North of Belgium and here, the official language is Dutch, and everybody speaks dutch too. And the lady was expecting me to speak a good French =p i know 4 languages good and still it was not enough to understand each other, because the only language she knew was a language i don´t know... damn, i need my retirement!

Oh almost forgot! today we had a difficult mission! We transplanted Adelaide to a bigger pot! The operation went good, and we expect to see Adelaide happier with her new `shoes`.

To You, me, and everybody we know

Today me and M. Lampe went to his parents, for a family party! It´s unbelievable, we were 15 together! So i started to think about my family that lives in Portugal, and i had to `bring` them too in some way  to complete my day...
On this video you can see my aunt and my uncle playing with me in the backyard. I find it so adorable the way we were playing and how i `tried` to help my aunt to stand up =) I am so grateful for having always my uncles with me; i am very sure i am blessed for having such wonderful second pair of parents.
Tomorrow we are going to restart to study hard, two more exams are waiting for us, and there is no way to escape from it!
I hope my internet gets better with the time, because we´re having some problems with it...

what we did last summer

M. Lampe went to visit his parents yesterday, so every time he goes away i have to open my book of memories to fulfill my mind before sleeping (insteed of talking for hours with him)! I found this photo from this summer! We were passing the holidays with my parents in Praia do Vau , and i just invaded the bathroom while he was still showering!
I also review the photos from Castanheira de Pêra but i still have to digitalize them as they were take with an analog camera (Olympus 35 rc). We had a lot of fun there till i got my loyal sun allergy that have been follow me since i can remember my existence =P. Anyway we were camping 2 meter from the river, and it was an incredible and lovely experience, specially for my blader that was always begging to pee after hearing the lovely river´s sounds...
Neuza passed last 2 nights with us, she is having some problems, and we are trying to make her smile more :) i cooked bifinhos com cogumelos e natas and yes... we ate again fries =D damn...

was that a frie crossing the street?

Me and M. Lampe decided to start to eat healthier. We are what we eat, they say, and i don´t want to become a belgian frie. Imagine you´re walking on the street `la la la happy sunday` and you see a belgian small frie crossing the street?! yes...that frie could be me in one year, so in order to maintain this human shape, we ate tonight red cabbage .
uhnn about the photo, I am wearing on my lips, rouge coco in rivoli. I adore the new formula of this lipsticks! I first got mademoiselle and, really, i wear it a LOT :) and then my super cool sister offer me rivoli!
If you know me you know i normally dont expend money on make up (always stole it from my sister), because i normally don´t wear it, but since i found Rouge Coco... i use make up almost everyday!

Happy laundry! ups... Happy New Year !

Happy New Year for you, and for everyone we love! We wish you a year with a lot of health, joy, kitties and luck! Thank you all the friends that wished us a good 2011!
Its been a while i´ve write a entry, but Christmas time was in between. I passed for the first time the Christmas in Belgium. It was very cozy, dreamy and special, as it was the first Christmas of my beloved niece. She is already 3 months, and she is doing so wel here, in this world =) She is so so so nice for everybody, always smiling and never crying! Clara even for the first time laughed out loud 2 days ago to M. Lampe! Still we missed the rest of the family that stayed in Portugal... Because of that i will celabrate the christmas again in February when i met my uncles and counsin again! what can you ask more than two christmas?
The new year´s eve was at my sister´s place! Me and M. Lampe brought a berries´ cold pie made by myself =D i must admit i did it a bit stressed because it always needs time on the fridge before its ready, but the godness of the cold-pies was with me and remind me to put it on the freezer.
We ended up at Matti´s place at 3 am for a little chat against political loose-r-s ups leaders who don´t pay taxes...
Our 5 wishes for this year are:
-drink more water
-go more times to the laundry
-finish this academic year with good marks
-buy a vacuum cleaner
-go to some music festival this summer

The exams are coming in some days, i feel a bit anxious as i still don´t feel comfortable writing and studying in dutch. However, i should trust myself more and simply pretend i rock on dutch =D
